Russia continued its offensive on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv on Day 7 of its invasion. AFP reported that Russia has asked citizens in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv to leave the city as it warned of an attack against intelligence facilities. The Russian Defense Ministry said it would target Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) and the 72nd Main Center of Information and Psychological Operations (PSO) in Kyiv. Citing satellite images, CNN reported that a 40-mile-long Russian military convoy – made up of armored vehicles, tanks, towed artillery and other logistic vehicles – had reached the outskirts of Kyiv.
