While Cavill’s history with 007 dates back to Casino Royale, when he auditioned for the role but lost to Craig, fans now wonder if the actor is being considered to take on the role this time. However, the actor did open up about the ongoing discussions on the Bond film.

During his recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Cavill was asked if he had any updates about the film’s casting. “I have no idea. All I have to go off of are the rumours. I have the same information as you do. Maybe I’m too old now, or maybe I’m not. We’ll see what the plans are,” he said.

In the meantime, Henry Cavill will be next seen in Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
