The Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party chief said that false news of Shivpal Yadav joining the BJP was being deliberately spread amid an alleged feud with his nephew Akhilesh Yadav. He said that Shivpal Yadav will stay with the SP and will fight the 2024 elections with them.

Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief Om Prakash Rajbhar on Monday gave a new twist to the Shivpal Yadav-Akhilesh Yadav controversy as he rubbished reports of the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) chief jumping into the BJP and termed it as false. The news is being spread. intentionally.

Both Rajbhar and Shivpal Yadav had contested the recent UP assembly elections in alliance with the Samajwadi Party.

Speaking to media persons in Lucknow, Rajbhar said: “Shivpal Yadav is part of the SP alliance. I have spoken to him, he is not out of the alliance. False news of his joining BJP is being deliberately spread. We will fight the 2024 Lok Sabha elections together. You all will see Shivpal Yadav with me after two days.

Shivpal Yadav, who is reportedly angry with his nephew, spoke in favor of Uniform Civil Code a few days back. He had also dissolved the Executive Committee, State Fronts along with the entire spokesperson panel of PSPL. An order in this regard was issued by Aditya Yadav, son of Shivpal Yadav and National General Secretary of PSPL. Earlier, the PSPL chief had tweeted a ‘chaupai’ from Ramcharitmanas, describing Lord Ram as the best teacher for family and nation building.

Shivpal Yadav had recently contested from his traditional Jaswantnagar seat in Etawah district on the SP symbol. Earlier, he had met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for about 20 minutes at his official residence in Lucknow. Sources close to Yadav said that the PSPL chief may make a big announcement to leave the alliance of his nephew soon. Yadav, who is clearly not happy with his nephew and the alliance with the SP, had said this was not the right time for him to speak.
