Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh elections, the BJP’s big move to win over Dalit voters has become the talk of the town. The BJP-led Uttar Pradesh government is planning to build a grand memorial of Dr BR Ambedkar in the name of the Dalit icon. The inauguration will virtually be done by President Ram Nath Kovind. About Rs 50 crore is estimated to be spent on this project. Meanwhile, the opposition criticized the move and called it a political move.
