Indian Railways is facing major constraints in its operations today, 09 February. Railways has canceled 459 trains today to deal with operational issues. These trains have been canceled due to operational and maintenance issues involving Indian Railways. Besides this, the Indian transporter has changed the source stations of 52 trains and short-terminated 48 trains. Besides this, timings of 23 trains have been changed while 32 trains have been diverted to ensure smooth operation.
The change in operations will affect many railway zones. Some of the cities directly affected by these changes are New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Pune, Kolhapur, Pathankot, Bathinda, Howrah, Varanasi, Ambala, Meerut, Lucknow, Saharanpur, Palwal, Jalandhar, Madurai, Rameshwaram, Mangalore, Kanpur , Patna, Kolkata, Prayagraj and others.
