As per the available information, there will be four bundles including one non-exclusive cluster in the tender. Bundle A is for the television rights for the India subcontinent while Bundle B is for the digital rights.

Bundle C, on the other hand, will have rights to the non-exclusive 18 games – the opening match, four play-offs and the nightly games of the double-header. This bundle is only for OTT players and only one player can buy this bundle. The fourth and final bundle is for the rest of the world.

Notably, in the latest Invitation to Tender (ITT), provision has been made for winners of TV rights to challenge digital rights holders, setting up a final round of e-bidding that allows one party to receive both. will provide opportunities. However, only Bundle A winners can challenge Bundle B winners, not the other way around, apparently because the payout by the former will be higher than the latter.

Similarly, Bundle B winners can challenge Bundle C winners. But, the chances of that happening are slim as digital rights holders will pay double for those 18 non-exclusive games.
