Among the biggest talking points in the build-up to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season was the return of Hardik Pandya to Mumbai Indians (MI). Just two years after being released by Mumbai Indians, Pandya made a return to the five-time champions as the leader of the franchise ahead of IPL 2024. His comeback, however, has not proved to be fruitful so far with MI losing both their opening fixtures. In their third match, MI will be up against Rajasthan Royals tonight at the Wankhede Stadium. Ahead of the home game, the Mumbai-based side shared a video of Hardik Pandya spending some quality time with his son Agastya.

In the post shared by MI on Instagram, Hardik Pandya and his son Agastya can be seen creating some original music with a drum kit and they even played snooker. “Just a little boy having fun with his dad,” read the caption of the post shared by MI.

This may be a make-or-break two weeks for MI and Hardik Pandya, as the encounter on Monday kicks off a four-game stretch at the Wankhede Stadium. Ahead of a crucial series of fixtures, Pandya wanted to spend some time with his son. The 30-year all-rounder has come under the scanner for some of his decisions in the opening two games of IPL 2024 season.

After the first two horrendous outings, MI are now all set to start their home leg in this season’s IPL. Playing in front of a home crowd could be advantageous to both Hardik Pandya and MI, who haven’t enjoyed a great start so far this time. They will be keen to get their first points of IPL 2024, but it will not be easy as they face an in-form RR side. The visitors have won both their opening games and have looked like a team that will go very far this year.
