Dravid began his IPL journey with RCB in 2008 but joined Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2021 and ended his career with them in the final of the 2013 Champions League. Meanwhile, Dravid has a tough task of planning the World Test Championship final against Australia which will be the next task for the Indian players after the IPL. The final of the WTC will be played in England from June 7 to 12.

On the match front, a century partnership from skipper Faf du Plessis (62) and Glenn Maxwell (77) threatened to take Royal Challengers Bangalore in a big way before Rajasthan Royals restricted them to 189 for 9 .

Maxwell and du Plessis put on 127 runs for the third wicket in just 66 balls, marking the third time the pair have crossed the 100-run mark in seven matches so far this season.

Earlier, du Plessis and Maxwell shared 115 runs in 50 balls against Lucknow Super Giants and 126 runs in 61 balls against Chennai Super Kings.
