As Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Mumbai Indians (MI) faced off at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday, the giants Sachin Tendulkar And Brian Lara was seen having a chat before the toss.

Both MI and SRH are coming into the match on the back of consecutive wins. They started the tournament with identical back-to-back defeats and are tied on four points each, but the five-time IPL champions hold an edge over SRH thanks to a better net run-rate (NRR). With four points from as many games so far, Sunrisers Hyderabad are at the ninth position in the IPL 2023 points table.

Coming to the toss, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the Indian Premier League (IPL) match number 25 against Mumbai Indians and elected to bowl first.
While Sunrisers will remain unchanged, there is one change in Mumbai Indians’ line-up with Jason Behrendorff coming in for Duane Jansen.

“The wicket is looking a bit dry, hopefully, it will be better with dew. There is no change in 16. We’ll see how the conditions play out and adjust from there. Our fielding needs improvement. We are improving game by game. It’s about people finding options and trusting them,” said SRH skipper Aiden Markram at the toss.
MI skipper Rohit Sharma said: “We have to play good cricket. We understand the challenges of total posting. We have to assess the circumstances. Duane missed out and was replaced by Jason Behrendorff. Jason should have always played, but he was not well in the last game. He’s fine to go now.”
