Take a look at the latest IPL 2023 points table after Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers at Wankhede Stadium

Mumbai Indians’ middle-order came to the fore again as they chased down a target of 200 with ease – the third time they have done so this season and the first team to do so in a single IPL season.

Their red-hot show is in stark contrast to how their season started when they lost a couple of matches in a row, but now they have put themselves into playoff contention with another stellar performance in IPL 2023.

IPL 2023: The skies are high as Mumbai Indians outclass rcb

Royal Challengers Bangalore must have taken a sense of comfort posting 199/6 despite being rocked early by Jason Behrendorff. Glenn Maxwell and Faf du Plessis’ blistering half-centuries were followed by a late cameo from Dinesh Karthik to take them to a challenging score.

MI was having none of it. First Ishan Kishan scored 42 off 21 balls in the powerplay and then came Suryakumar Yadav, who created a storm to blow RCB away. When that was done, RCB were left with MI needing just eight runs to win off 26 balls.
