According to The New Indian Express, Rinku always wanted to give a smooth ride to the talented youth. His dream will come true when the hostel becomes operational next month.
“He always wanted to build a hostel for young sportspersons who did not have the financial resources to pursue their dreams. As she is now financially strong, she has decided to make it a reality,” Rinku’s childhood coach Masoodj-Zafar Amini from Aligarh had said.
“Rinku started work about three months back, closely watching the progress before joining their team. The hostel will have 14 rooms and each can accommodate four trainees. A shed and pavilion are also being built. Separate toilets are also being built. These trainees can take food in the canteen being run at that place. It will cost around Rs 50 lakh and the entire cost is being borne by Rinku,” said the coach.

Hostel is being constructed in Aligarh Cricket schools and academies; The facility is spread over 15 acres of land and is owned by the district association. It has trainees from nearby cities and most of them are from humble background. The hostel will help them avail cheap accommodation.
“Around a dozen of our trainees will be shifted to the hostel. At present, they pay heavy rent but here they get room and food at a nominal cost. Moreover, they do not have to waste time and money on travel as well,” said the coach.
“About 90 per cent work is done. It will be ready by next month. Rinku will inaugurate it after returning from IPL. Hopefully, this facility will make life easier for these youngsters,” signed off the coach.
