Sourav Ganguly Feels Delhi Capitals Can Win All Their Remaining 9 Matches In IPL 2023 Even After Losing Five Matches In A Row
Director of Delhi Capitals Cricket Sourav Ganguly has insisted that his side can still win the remaining nine games in the IPL 2023 campaign after their disastrous start to the season in which they have lost all five matches so far.
The Capitals suffered their fifth consecutive defeat on Saturday as Royal Challengers Bangalore registered a 23-run win at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and as a result, David Warner’s side are at the bottom of the IPL 2023 standings.
Despite the bad mood in the camp, Ganguly tried his best to raise the spirits in the dressing room in a video shared by the franchise on his Twitter handle.

“We need to put this back. Back the captain, put each other back together and we’ll come back fresh in the next game. We can’t get worse; we can only get better. Nine matches to go We are there and we can win nine out of nine matches.
“It doesn’t matter whether we qualify or not, it doesn’t matter that much to us at this stage. But let’s look inside, play for ourselves, play for our pride and see if we can get there,” said the former Indian captain and former BCCI president.
We are a much better team than what is happening on the field at the moment. It only takes one game to change that and we will,” Ganguly further urged.

Head coach Ricky Ponting said he is expecting a better fielding from the team when they take on Kolkata Knight Riders at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Thursday, April 20.
“Whenever we take the field next time, I want to take the fielding from good to great. I want you to prepare yourself, see your vision, work on your game plan and play it your way.”
