IPL 2022: Vijay Shankar’s flop show at No. 3, meme fest begins on Twitter

Gujarat Titans all-rounder Vijay Shankar became a trending topic on Twitter on Monday after failing to score big while batting at number three against Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Fans on social media were stunned to see Shankar bat at No. 3 for the new franchise in the first game of the season. Chasing a target of 159 runs, Dushmantha Chamira dismissed Shankar for just 4.

The Sri Lankan pacer set up Shankar well by bowling a few short deliveries and then followed it up with a toe-crushing yorker, which the batsman had no answer for and was bowled.
