Krunal Pandya faced the wrath of trolls after he dropped a simple catch by Shimron Hetmyer against Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday. It was the 14th over of the match and Hetmyer was batting on just 14 as the southpaw smashed Krishnappa Gautam at long-on, where Krunal dropped a regulation catch to give him extra life. The Windies power-hitter scored an unbeaten 59 off 36 balls to take his team to a total of 165/6 in 20 overs.
The southpaw lived up to his Rs 8.50 crore price tag as he smashed six maximums and one four as Kunal became a meme fest on Twitter.

A dropped catch from Krunal brought relief to Hetmyer and West Indies paid LSG as they launched compatriot Holder in the 18th over.
He caught it at deep mid-wicket to bring up a 50-run stand, before sending a fine to the leg side and then smashed it to the ground as Holder scored 18. He hit two sixes off Avesh as well as conceded 16-16 runs in the last two overs.
