Rashid Khan believes that Hardik Pandya is leading the way with inspiring performances and going out of his way to create a happy team atmosphere that has given Gujarat Titans a good start in their maiden IPL campaign. Gujarat are now at the top of the table with four wins from five matches and Hardik is second in the run-scorers’ list and is bowling well in every game.

“The way he (Hardik) has led the team, the way he has kept the team environment on and off the field, has been amazing so far,” Rashid said in the post-match virtual press conference. Afghanistan said that Hardik is such a person who always takes bold decisions.
“He (Hardik) is the one who always takes that brave decision, is always confident and is someone who is very clear in his mind about what he is going to do.
“It’s an important thing as a captain when your mind is clear and you take the right decision, the result will take over (attention),” Rashid said.
Rashid believes that the ability to take the right decisions at the right time makes him a good leader.
“You make the right decisions with confidence, that’s what makes him the best and he’s doing the best he has ever done and moving on from batting, bowling and fielding,” Rashid said.
