On May 22, Punjab Police arrested Lovepreet Singh alias Ravi and Ram Singh alias Sonu from Moga. Kamaljit Sharma was arrested on his behest. These three accused were working for KTF’s Canadian resident chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar. These men had killed Tejinder Singh alias Pinka, a cloth merchant from Moga, as well as a Dera lover in Bhagta Bhai and opened fire on a priest in Phillaur. According to the information received, the team reached village Dala, about 20 km from the city on Moga-Barnala road in the morning, with a convoy of about 20 vehicles. Along with Moga police, the team has seized some items by conducting a search operation in many other houses of the village besides KTF members Lovepreet Singh Ravi, Kamaljit Sharma and Arshdeep. Even the iron and other metal rings put in the feet of domestic pigeons by some people in the village have also been seized by the agency. First started the search of the house of Lovepreet Singh alias Ravi. Later Arshdeep reached Singh’s house and got the house excavated in the apprehension of hiding the weapon.

Earlier on June 23, Arshdeep Dala’s father Charanjit Singh Dala was arrested by the Moga police. Police are now looking for Arshdeep’s brother Baldeep Singh. According to the family and the villagers, the police has picked him up, but the information is not being shared.
