  1. Take a pledge to fight for women’s rights and stand against gender equality, whether you are at your home or in public places like educational institutions, offices or business establishments.
  2. Make sure to raise your voice or take action when you come across women who are victims of domestic violence or emotional abuse.
  3. Resolve to educate yourself about the health risks women face and raise awareness about them.
  4. Try to make public places safe for women at any time of the day. Take a pledge to make women feel safe in your company.
  5. Associate yourself with NGOs and campaigns working to help survivors of sexual abuse. Support such initiatives in whatever way you can afford.
  6. At the individual level, ensure that there is no discrimination between son and daughter. Give your daughter all the opportunities she deserves to build a career and life.
  7. Resolve to support your partner in all his endeavors. Make sure that they are not forced to give up their career due to social or family pressures.
  8. Stop telling women what clothes they should wear and how much makeup they should wear. Make sure you don’t body shame a woman, whether she is a friend, co-worker, or partner. There is a fine line between admiring and objectifying women’s bodies. Also stop your friends, colleagues and others from doing the same.
  9. Stand up against workplace harassment. If you see a coworker being harassed mentally or physically, report it to senior management or report it to the police.
  10. Making sly jokes about women’s abilities, stereotyping, and doubting them simply based on their gender is the worst thing ever. Avoid putting them down in front of friends and family
