The Center has decided to resume scheduled commercial international passenger services to India from March 27. The civil aviation ministry said international operations would be subject to strict adherence to the health ministry’s guidelines for international travel.

In order to contain the spread of COVID-19, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) suspended the operation of scheduled international commercial passenger services with effect from March 23, 2020.

However, special passenger flights are operating between India and around 40 countries since July 2020 under the air bubble arrangement.
