Interesting Fighter Plane Fighter: ‘Abhinandan’ who shot down the F-16 fighter, will compete with Sukhoi; Indian and Oman armies will converge in Jodhpur

A team of Royal Air Force of Oman reached Jodhpur in a C-130 Hercules aircraft. Abhinandan shot down Pakistan’s F-16 aircraft on the second day of Balakot airstrike.

The joint exercise Eastern Bridge-6 between India and Oman Air Force is going to start on Saturday. For this, a team of 50 members of the Royal Air Force of Oman reached Jodhpur on Friday afternoon in a C130 Hercules cargo plane.

On Saturday, a cargo plane carrying 5 F-16 fighter jets and more than 60 members will reach Jodhpur via Jamnagar. This is the first time that F-16 aircraft will be hovering in the sky of Jodhpur. This is a class of aircraft, when our brave pilot Abhinandan Varthaman shot down Pakistan’s F-16 aircraft from MiG-21 after the Balakot air strike three years ago. Sukhoi 30 MKI is many times better than the F-16 fighter in many ways in terms of air power and attacking capability.

During this exercise, which runs in the sky of Jodhpur for a week, the pilots of Oman will fly Sukhoi 30 aircraft together with the pilots of the Indian Air Force and will take training to attack in the desert. For him, flying as a pilot in Sukhoi would be his first experience. The exercise will conclude on February 25. In this, the Air Force Chiefs of both the countries are expected to attend. In the event of his absence, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of South Western Air Command or other senior officers will come. The chiefs of both the countries will do a comparative analysis of the fighter.

Exercise of both the countries will run till February 25
According to defense sources, ‘Joint Exercise Eastern Bridge’ will run till February 25. To join this, a team of Royal Air Force of Oman has reached Jodhpur in C130 Hercules. It is likely that the Air Force Chiefs of both the countries will come to Jodhpur. During the exercise, the airmen of both the countries will fly each other’s fighters.
