For the safety of Anees’s family, police security arrangements have been made in front of their house. Recently CCTV was also installed. But still Anees’s father did not trust the police. So this time Anees’s father got four CCTVs installed in the house. He claimed that this CCTV has been installed for security.
Anees Khan was allegedly thrown from the terrace. As a result, Anees’s father Salem Khan has also got CCTV installed on the terrace. According to Salem, “all these CCTVs have been installed for the safety of the family members.” Despite Salim Khan’s demand for a CBI inquiry into the murder of his son, the Calcutta High Court has relented on the seat. Due to this SIT is probing the incident. The OC of Amta police station was named but it was seen that only after that he was sent on leave. This was strongly criticized by the Calcutta High Court.
Anees’s father said, ‘People come to our house every day now. Seat officers are also coming. Also, all the policemen guarding our house could be one of the boy’s killers. That’s why I have installed CCTV in the house for security.
Incidentally, many political figures have visited Anees’s family since Anees’s murder. Last Friday, CPM politburo member Hannan Mulla went to Anees’s house. He handed over Rs 50,000 to Anees’ family and assured that the CPM would continue to fight for the punishment of those responsible for Anees’ murder.
