what is c skimming
Sea skimming is a method of flight in which a missile or aircraft flies very close to the surface of the water, usually at an altitude of less than 10 feet. This technology is used for both military and civilian purposes, such as search and rescue and anti-ship warfare. It is also used by some aircraft to land or take off on water.

Mormugao Ship Named After Goa
Mormugao Warship has become more deadly after the successful testing of first BrahMos and now Sea Skimming Missile. This warship has been named after the port city of Goa. The warship made its maiden voyage on 19 December 2021, when Goa celebrated 60 years of independence from Portuguese rule. It was commissioned on 18 December 2022, on the eve of Goa Liberation Day.

The ship is 163 meters in length and 17 meters in breadth and has a displacement of 7,400 tonnes. INS Mormugao is the most powerful warship ever built in India. However, its radar cross section (RCS) has been reduced due to better stealth features.

75% of Mormugao was made in the country itself
Mormugao is a stealth guided missile destroyer, 75% of which is indigenously built. According to the Indian Navy, it is the second ship of the P-15 Bravo project. Four warships are being built under the P-15B project. Out of this Visakhapatnam and Mormugao have been handed over to the Indian Navy. The remaining two are Surat and Imphal which will soon be inducted into the Navy.
