Harjot is out of danger
Harjot has said that new life has been found for the mother. It was not known who was firing when we were in the cab. After being shot, I fell on the road. The eyes would open a little and then close. When I regained consciousness, I was in the hospital. A bullet had hit my knee. The second bullet had gone into my chest while touching it from the side. The hospital people only provided me the mobile. Only after that I could contact most. Indian Embassy officials in Kyiv have already left.

Not getting reply from embassy
In an interview to ND TV, Harjot said that he was in the car with his friends and was trying to reach the border. That’s when the shooting happened. Harjot has said that he has contacted Embassy officials several times and appealed to them to take him off leave but he has not got proper response.

Some students stayed in Russia
On Friday, VK Singh had said that I got information that a student coming from Kyiv was shot but he was taken back midway. We have sent back 7 flights (to India) in the last 3 days, each one carrying around 200 Indians. Some students who arrived in Warsaw and their relatives and friends have decided to stay there. They are safe in Poland.
