Infection rate rises to 46% in Rajasthan: Positivity doubles in a single day; 40000 samples taken less, yet every second sample is corona infected

The infection rate in Rajasthan doubled in a single day. Every second sample is getting corona positive. Out of 20083 samples taken in the last 24 hours, 9227 positives were found. This is the situation when 40 thousand samples were taken less in a day. 66000 samples were taken on Wednesday. Had there been as much sampling as on Wednesday, the number of positive could have crossed 30 thousand, because the infection rate in the state today is 46 percent, which is more than double as compared to yesterday.

At the same time, 20 people died due to corona in the last 24 hours. 8 patients died in Jaipur. Two patients died in Jhunjhunu and one each in Alwar, Bhilwara, Dungarpur, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Karauli, Kota, Nagaur and Sikar.

If we look at the report released from the Medical Health Department, on Thursday, the maximum number of 2075 cases were found in Jaipur. Apart from Jaipur, 1192 cases were found in Alwar, Ganganagar 719, Jodhpur 641, Bhilwara 437, Dungarpur 386, Ajmer 385 and Udaipur 332. Even though the cases are decreasing in the state, but the rate of infection is still worrying.

More than 16 thousand patients recovered
It is a matter of relief in Rajasthan that today 16 thousand 87 patients have recovered in the entire state. Due to this the number of active patients in the state came down from 90 thousand to 87 thousand 268. Karauli, Sirohi, Jhalawar, Jalore, Jaisalmer, Dausa, Churu, Bundi and Baran are the districts where the number of active cases is less than 1000. The maximum 23 thousand 473 active cases are in Jaipur district.

Every third sample positive in Jaipur
Today 2075 new cases of corona were found in Jaipur. A total of 5 thousand 810 samples were taken in the entire district, out of which every third sample turned out to be positive. If you look at the area wise cases in Jaipur, Vaishali Nagar has the maximum number of 87 cases.
