Indore woman in trouble for dancing at zebra crossing

New Delhi: Indore-based model and content creator Sherya Kalra got herself into trouble with the police after she posted a video of her dancing at a zebra crossing when the signal lights turned red.

The woman, identified as Shreya Kalra, danced for an Instagram video.

In the video, the woman wearing a black crop top can be seen running across the road at a zebra crossing as the car comes to a halt. After this she danced on Doja Cat’s popular song Woman. In the video, she was also seen without wearing a mask in some parts, but she was wearing a mask while dancing at the crossing.

The video was shot at Indore’s Rasoma Square.

Criticizing the behavior, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has said that action will be taken against the woman under the Motor Vehicles Act.

“Whatever his intention was, it was wrong. I will issue an order to take action against them under the Motor Vehicles Act to prevent such incidents in future,” Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said in an ANI report.

Kalra has acknowledged the criticism on his Instagram page and updated the caption of the video urging his followers to follow traffic rules and not step out without a face mask.
