Uttarakhand minister Ganesh Joshi also credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the smooth completion of Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
Martyrdom is not the monopoly of the Gandhi family and the assassinations of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were “accidents”, Uttarakhand minister Ganesh Joshi said on Tuesday.
“I pity Rahul Gandhi’s intelligence. Martyrdom is not the monopoly of the Gandhi family. India’s struggle for independence saw the martyrdoms of Bhagat Singh, Savarkar and Chandrashekhar Azad. What happened to the members of the Gandhi family was an accident. Joshi said that there is a difference between accident and martyrdom.
“But one can speak according to the level of his intelligence,” he told reporters in Srinagar to a question about the Congress leader’s concluding speech at the end of his Bharat Jodo visit.
Joshi, who is the state’s Agriculture, Farmers Welfare, Rural Development and Sainik Welfare Minister, also credited the Prime Minister Narendra Modi For the smooth completion of Rahul Gandhi’s visit to J&K.

“Those who instigate violence – like Modiji, Amit Shahji, BJP and RSS – will never understand this pain. The army jawan’s family will understand, the CRPF jawan’s family who was martyred in Pulwama will understand, Kashmiris will understand the pain when someone calls.
