India’s Omicron coronavirus cases cross 400 mark

While the fast-growing Omron Covid version has crossed the 400 mark in India, the country has recorded the highest COVID recovery rate of 98.40 per cent since March 2020.

Currently, there are 415 cases of the Omicron variant in India and a number of restrictions have been imposed, including a nationwide night curfew and the limit of large gatherings, to prevent the spread of the new variant.
