India’s first case of monkeypox came to light in Kollam, Kerala, Center sent team to the state

After India’s first monkeypox case was confirmed in Kerala’s Kollam, the health ministry sent a high-level multi-disciplinary team to the state to collaborate with the authorities in setting up public health measures in the wake of the case.

Confirming the case of monkeypox, Kerala Health Minister Veena George said, ‘There is nothing to worry or worry. All steps are being taken and the patient is stable.
