India’s capability, resolve now unprecedented: PM Modi on National Unity Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said India is becoming more and more capable to face any challenge, internal or external, and asserted that the country will be able to achieve its goals only when the people remain united.

Addressing the nation on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India’s first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, the Prime Minister said that India’s capabilities and resolve on every front, land, water, air, space, are now unprecedented.

“Sardar Patel always wanted India to be capable, inclusive, sensitive, alert, humble and developed. He always gave priority to the national interest,” Modi said.

He said that today by taking inspiration from him, the country is becoming fully capable of facing both external and internal challenges.

He said that in the last seven years, the country has been freed from many decades old unwanted laws.

Noting that the country is paying tribute to Sardar Patel who laid down his life for ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’, Modi said that Patel lives not only in history but also in the hearts of all Indians.
