Indian Railways canceled over 200 trains today, see full list here

IRCTC Update: Indian Railways today (July 17) announced cancellation of several trains due to various reasons. A total of 246 trains were completely and partially canceled by various Indian Railway zones. While movement of trains is affected in some states of the country due to maintenance and heavy rains, IRCTC has mentioned that today many passenger train services have been badly affected due to agitation at Secunderabad Railway Station against Agneepath Recruitment Scheme.

Proper maintenance and other construction work on railway tracks Central Railway and Western Railway of Indian Railways are operating Mega Block and Jumbo Block in Mumbai today. However, special trains will run from Panvel and Kurla during the block. Meanwhile, Delhi-NCR has received heavy rains today, due to which the services of trains have come to a standstill.

Apart from this, many incoming trains were regulated/short terminated today at Cherlapally Railway Station and other stations in Secunderabad today. Additional Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police personnel were deployed at Secunderabad station.

Many trains were also partially canceled due to the above reasons. However, railway officials are working to resume train services at the earliest.
