Pavandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal were co-contestants in Indian Idol 12
Indian Idol 12 fame Arunita Kanjilal has backed out of a series of music videos featuring reality show co-contestant Pavandeep Rajan.

Indian Idol 12 duo Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal will not be seen together in the upcoming music video of director Raj Surani, who had earlier shot with them on the video song Manzoor Dil. Arunita has reportedly backed out of the music video and is now looking for a new face along with producer Pawandeep.
The director revealed that it was Arunita’s decision not to feature in his upcoming video and the makers are now looking for a replacement.
The director was quoted as saying, “Arunita said she is no longer comfortable with acting, though her commitment was to be a part of the music video of the series. We said you should have told us earlier. Now we have to replace her. Some other actress will have to be brought in. But we respect the decision of Arunita and her parents. Hence, we have changed her in the next video.”
However, Arunita will continue as the playback singer for the song.
Meanwhile, Arunita and Pavandeep are touring abroad for the show along with Mohd Danish and Sayli Kamble. He recently performed in the UK, where he played for the crowd at the SSE Arena, Wembley.
Now, four Indian Idol 12 searches are in Canada for their music tour. Fans also suggested that they take utmost care amidst the news of Omicron’s strain of Covid affecting people around the world.
