There is no denying that the contestants of India Idol 12 are extremely talented and versatile. Every special guest who came to the show, impressed by his performance, only showered praises. Now, filmmaker Omung Kumar has offered to sing a contestant in his next project. Kumar will be seen as a special guest along with music composer Bappi Lahiri, who will join the judges’ panel along with Anu Malik, Sonu Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya.
As per the promo shared by the channel, Kumar will make a surprise entry in the show and will tell the contestant Shanmukhpriya that he is her big fan. He complemented Shanmukhpriya for her singing and said that she liked her style.
Reacting to Shanmukhpriya’s performance in Jimmy Jimmy Aaja Aaja and Super Dancer Aaye Hai, Kumar said that he would like to collaborate with her for a film. Kumar said that he was so impressed with her talent and style that if he didn’t have a project to make, he would have taken Shanmukhpriya’s song and made a film for it.
“I am glad to hear you live and I hope I can give you a nice and beautiful song to sing in the future,” Kumar said.
The Mary Kom director then made a sketch of Shanmukhpriya within 5 minutes and gave it as a gift.
Responding to Kumar’s compliments, the contestant said that he is overwhelmed by the lovely things said by the filmmaker. He also expressed happiness that he wanted to cooperate with her in future.
The episode will be aired on Sony TV on Saturdays and Sundays at 9 PM.
Meanwhile, the race for the Indian Idol 12 trophy is getting tougher with each passing week. The show is heading towards its finale, with the top 6 contestants struggling to make it to the show. Apart from Shanmukhpriya, the list of top 6 contestants includes Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Mohammad Danish, Sayli Kamble and Nihal Tauro.
