Indian legspin bowler Rahul Chahar tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Ishani Johar in Goa on March 9. Photos and videos from their wedding ceremony are going viral on social media, and their wedding dresses are stealing the show.
While Ishani wore cyan blue lehenga choli Heavily embroidered with silver zari, crystal, and thread work, Rahul wore a pristine white bandhgala sherwani Embellished with crystals on the border for D-Day. To complete his look with his wife, Rahul paired a matching doshla with his outfit.
Rahul posted some pictures from his special day on Instagram and wrote, “Our happiness forever.”

Rahul is the cousin of Deepak Chahar who is a prominent cricketer of India.
Deepak also attended his cousin’s wedding and posted a bunch of pictures on his Instagram account. In a post, the CSK all-rounder shared two pictures, one with his girlfriend Jaya Bhardwaj and the newlyweds.
Rahul and his wife Ishani were in the second shot. “Congratulations brother for the new innings. May God bless you both and wish you all a happy and peaceful married life,” Deepak captioned the post.
Earlier, he had also shared some pictures of the couple’s haldi ceremony. The right-arm pacer posted pictures of Rahul and Ishani on his Instagram stories and wrote in the caption, “Turmeric Valdi.” In another picture, Rahul was seen covered in turmeric as he posed for the camera.
On March 8, Rahul shared several pictures with Ishani as the two enjoyed their colorful mehendi ceremony. In the caption, Rahul said that this is the beginning of ‘forever’ with his better half.
“Soon to be the beginning of our “forever”! First day filled with colors of mehendi. Love is blooming,” he wrote.
