‘Indian Cricket Most Important, Not Franchise Cricket’-EX Pakistan Spinner After India’s Loss In Bangladesh

Former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria lashed out at the team India After the 0-2 loss in the ODI series against Bangladesh. Calling for focusing on India instead of IPL, Kaneria said that players can earn money through international cricket as well.

“Stop thinking about IPL and think about the country. Indian cricket is most important, not franchise cricket. There is money in franchise cricket, but you can also earn money from international cricket. Unless you start giving importance to international cricket, these kind of results will continue.” Kaneria said on his YouTube channel.

Like most cricket pundits, he also blamed the rotation policy for the team’s back to back defeats in Bangladesh.

“The batsmen are not sure about their positions as they have been asked to bat at different positions in the last few months. The bowling attack has been changing. There has been no proper planning or execution. I don’t think there is any in place. There is a plan.Indian cricket has gone downhill and Bangladesh has a good chance to win the test match as well.

India will now take on Bangladesh for the third and final ODI where their pride will be at stake.

Battling injuries and fitness issues on the field, the Indian team will be determined to avoid the infamy of a clean sweep against Bangladesh in the final ODI of the three-match series here on Saturday.

Riding on two contrasting but brilliant innings from Mehidy Hasan Miraj, Bangladesh have already sealed the series by winning the first two matches, but if Liton Das’ men can whitewash the ‘Men in Blue’ 3-0, it will be the first time Country’s cricket will be historic.

This will not only be icing on the cake for the hosts but will also take a huge toll on the confidence of the visiting team ahead of the Test series starting at the same venue in less than a week’s time (December 14).

For India, there were originally 20 cricketers available for this series as there was little time between the first ODI in Bangladesh and the last in New Zealand as both teams had few players in common.
