There is good news for the youth who are looking for jobs in the Indian Army. Indian Army has invited applications for filling up 90 posts under Technical Entry Scheme (TES50) for 10+2 pass-outs. Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for these posts. Candidates who are willing to apply for these posts can apply through the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in.
The online application started from June 1 and will be available till June 30. There are a total of 90 vacancies for which applications are invited. Shortlisted candidates will likely have to undergo SSB interview in August-September 2023.
After selection in Indian Army, professionals will get the following salary according to their rank.
For Lieutenant Level 10 – Rs 56,100-1,77,500
Captain Level 10B – Rs 61,300-1,93,900
Major Level 11 – Rs 69,400-2,07,200
Lieutenant Colonel Level 12A – Rs 1,21,200-2,12,400
Colonel Level 13 – Rs 1,30,600-2,15,900
Brigadier Level 13A – Rs 1,39,600-2,17,600
Major General Level 14 – Rs 1,44,200-2,18,200
Lieutenant General HAG Scale Level 15 – Rs 1,82,200 – 2,24,100
Lieutenant General HAG+Scale Level 16 – Rs 2,05,400-2,24,400
VCOAS/Army CDR/Lieutenant General (NFSG) Level 17 – Rs 2,25,000 (Fixed)
COAS Level 18 – Rs 2,50,000 (Fixed)
The minimum educational qualification for Technical Entry Scheme post is 12th class with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognized educational institution. The candidate must additionally appear for JEE Main 2023.
The age of the applicant should not be less than 16½ years and not more than 19½ years. He should be born after 2nd July 2004 and before 1st July 2007 (both days inclusive). Application fee for the post is free for General, OBC and SC/ ST candidates.
