The Indian women’s cricket team will aim to wipe out Bangladesh as the two teams face each other in the third T20 match today. The final match of the T20 series is going to be held at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. Bangladesh, on the other hand, would look to claim a win today to avoid a humiliating whitewash in the T20I series. The visiting team got the series off to a flying start with a seven-wicket win in the opening T20 match. Captain Harmanpreet played a brilliant inning of 54 not out in that match to give India a resounding victory. Bangladesh put up a sensational bowling display in the next match to restrict India to a total of just 95. But Bangladesh’s batting unit failed miserably and were bowled out for 87 runs.
Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana top-scored for her team with 38 runs, but her flexible batting proved to be in vain. Deepti Sharma and Shafali Verma took three wickets each to give India an emphatic eight-wicket win.
