India will play 3 ODIs and 5 T20 matches against West Indies from July 22 in Florida

Cricket The West Indies (CWI) and the BCCI on Wednesday announced India’s tour of the West Indies where the ‘Men in Blue’ will play three ODIs and five T20Is from July 22 to August 7.

India will conclude their white-ball leg of the UK tour on 17 July and the selected ones will head straight for the West Indies from England.

The ODI series and three T20Is will be hosted in Trinidad and Tobago and St Kitts and Nevis, with the last two T20Is scheduled to be held in Fort Lauderhill, Florida, United States.

The three ODIs will be played at the iconic Queens Park Oval in Port of Spain (Trinidad and Tobago) on July 22, 24 and 27 respectively and will be followed by five T20Is, two of which will be played at Fort Lauderhill, Florida.

The first T20I will take place on 29 July at the Brian Lara Stadium (Port of Spain) followed by two matches at St Kitts’ Warner Park on 1 and 2 August respectively.

The final two matches will be held on August 6 and 7 at Broward County Stadium in Florida to address the needs of the diaspora in the United States.

The entire series will be live-streamed exclusively on Fancode.

West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran said on the upcoming series, “We have a young team that is eager to restore the brand of cricket that the West Indies team is known for playing.

“As I am leading this team, our ambition is to always be competitive, as we use this series to fine-tune our preparations for the upcoming T20 and 50 overs. World cup.”
