India made a positive start in the first T20I in Jaipur as they beat New Zealand by 5 wickets to secure 1st place in the 3-match T20I series. Both the sides will now face each other in the second T20 match on Friday, 19 November at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.
In the first match, Ravichandran Ashwin provided significant breakthroughs and was brilliant in his spell. Axar Patel, on the other hand, was as fit as ever and will once again lead the team in Ranchi.
Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav were brilliant with the bat and both were the main architects for India in the first match. Rohit has performed brilliantly in his last four innings with KL Rahul. The chase was always on track and, although it became difficult to get to the rear end, they finally made it home.
