India vs New Zealand 2021: Rohit Sharma salutes Deepak Chahar after 19 run-overs off Adam Milne

India captain Rohit Sharma was quite pleased with the way Deepak Chahar dismissed Adam Milne for 19 in the final over as the team finished on 184/7. Chahar scored 4, 4, 2, 6, 2, 1 – 19 in the last over and the batsman himself was dismissed for 21 off 8 balls. In the same over, Milne’s maximum shot was probably the shot of the match where he batted the bowler at maximum long on. Rohit was so impressed that he saluted Chahar from the dressing room.

East India It got off to a good start, but in no time it faltered after losing four wickets. Makeshift Kiwi captain Adam Milne was top dog as he managed to pick up three quick wickets of Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav and Rishabh Pant as India struggled to 83/3 after winning the toss and opting to bat first. Iyer- Venkatesh Iyer and Shreyas Iyer tried to save the position, but both quickly left. It was here that Deepak Chahar took things into his own hands and waited for the final over where he bundled out the opposition for 19 runs.
