Jarvo was previously banned for life by the Yorkshire Cricket Club for the offence. However, no such action was taken by other English counties. The ECB is now under increasing pressure to pay serious attention as such incidents can lead to major security breaches.

“Yes, Daniel Jarvis will be banned for life from Headingley. We will also impose a financial penalty,” a Yorkshire CCC spokesperson had earlier told PTI.

When asked what kind of measures would be taken to avoid such embarrassment, which has happened twice now, the spokesperson said: “Like in the past, to deter anyone who tries to stop There will be stewards present there.”

After Rohit Sharma’s wicket fell on Friday, the ‘Jarvo 69’ vision was visible from the gallery located on one side of the screen wearing a blue helmet with a batting pad and surgical face mask. Someone from the crowd also threw a cricket bat as he entered the playground and reached the pitch to guard when he was stopped by ground security personnel. He was immediately evicted from the Headingley compound.
