Rohit returned with a positive report after the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) conducted on June 25. He is currently in isolation at the team hotel and is under the care of the BCCI medical team, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). said in a statement.

The Indian Cricket Board added Mayank Agarwal to the team on 27 June as Rohit’s cover. Mayank will join the team in Birmingham.
India and England are set to play the rescheduled fifth Test in Birmingham from July 1. India are currently leading 2-1 in the five-Test series against England.
