Archer Aviation, supported by Stellantis (Chrysler’s parent company), Boeing, and United Airlines, specializes in electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft—a potential future for urban air transport. The ‘Midnight’ e-plane, capable of carrying four passengers and a pilot up to a range of 100 miles, plans to initiate services in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru with a fleet of 200 aircraft.

Highlighting the efficiency of this service, the companies noted that a journey taking 60 to 90 minutes by car in Delhi could be reduced to a mere 7 minutes with the air taxi. Additionally, InterGlobe Enterprises envisions utilizing the e-aircraft for various purposes, including cargo, logistics, medical services, emergencies, and charters.
