This is the first time since the war that India has stopped blaming Russia. More than 400 bodies were found lying on the street of the city of Bucha near the capital Kyiv. All these people were shot and killed.

On Ukraine war, Tirumurti said India reiterates its call to end war and enmity. He said that when the lives of innocent people are at stake, then only diplomacy remains the only option.

TS Tirumurti said that India emphasized the humanitarian needs of Ukrainians and we hope that the international community will continue to respond positively to humanitarian needs. He said- Keeping in view the grave humanitarian situation in Ukraine, India is sending humanitarian aid, which includes medicines and other necessary relief materials, to Ukraine and its neighbours. We are prepared to deliver more medical supplies to Ukraine in the coming days.
