NEW DELHI: India on Saturday reported 2.35 lakh new Coronavirus cases and 871 deaths. This was the highest one-day death toll since the beginning of the pandemic.
With this rise in cases, India’s active caseload has reached 20,04,333, which is 4.91 per cent of total cases. With 3,35,939 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the total recoveries reached 3,83,60,710. This brought the recovery rate to 93.89 per cent.
The country’s daily positivity rate is 13.39 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate is 16.89 per cent.
So far 165.04 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the country.
India has conducted 72.57 crore covid tests, of which 17,59,434 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
