“We are going to bat first. Want to get some runs and take the game from there. Looks like a very good wicket, we played the IPL final here where the ball moved a bit in the second innings. Last There has been a lot of pressure on the batsmen in the two matches but credit goes to the kind of attitude they have shown. This is what we try as a unit, we are going to be tested but we will learn from it. Knockout matches teach you a lot. One change – Umran comes in place of Yuzi as it looks like this surface will help the fast bowlers,” said Indian skipper Hardik Pandya.

New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner said that New Zealand has also made a change in its team. Ben Lister comes in for Jacob Duffy.

“We were going to bowl first, looks a good surface either way. Lucknow was a challenging surface, maybe 120 would have done the trick. But we have to adapt. It was a great experience playing here, it’s my first time here. It doesn’t get bigger than this with a series on the line. Till now both the surfaces were very different but today we need boys to adapt to bigger boundaries. It should be a good challenge. One change for us – Ben Lister in for Jacob Duffy,” Santner said at the toss.
