Having acted with bat and ball, Jasprit Bumrah Ben Stokes took a brilliant catch to remove on the third day of the rescheduled fifth Test at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Sunday.
Bumrah had a whirlwind time with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 31 off 16 balls, most of which came from Stuart Broad’s record 35-run over. With the ball, Bumrah ran through the top-order, dismissing the likes of Alex Lees, Jack Crawley and Ollie Pope, including twice taking wickets on extra deliveries after a no-ball.

On the third ball of the 38th over of England’s first innings, Bumrah dropped a simple catch of Stokes off Shardul Thakur at mid-off. He made up for it off the very next ball as he sent Stokes back for 25.
