Apart from Kohli, Rishabh Pant is another batsman going through a rough patch in white-ball cricket. After a stellar performance in the T20I series against South Africa, Pant returned with a thumping century against England in the Edgbaston Test. However, his numbers dropped again when he returned to the white-ball format. He scored 26 and 1 in the second and third T20Is against England. Whereas things got worse for him as he was dismissed for a duck in the second ODI.

It was Topley’s scintillating performance with the ball that completely outplayed the Indian batsmen.
