The visitors had struggled to get the decisive last wicket in the series opener and were also out of ideas on Wednesday, with more than half of Bangladesh’s line-up being sent back to the dressing room by the 19th over.

Miraj scored a lot of his wickets as he picked his gaps, especially against the spinners. He hit eight fours and four sixes.

India chased down Bangladesh’s score before last match’s hero Miraj (100 off 83 balls) stitched a fine 148 off 165 balls with Mahmudullah (77 off 96 balls) to help the home side post a struggling total. Had scored 69 runs for six wickets. This was the highest ever seventh wicket partnership against India.
