June 12 is a reserve day for the WTC Finals and can be used to make up for any loss of playing time during the five scheduled days, not to continue playing until one side has won.

In the last edition, in the final between India and New Zealand, two years back rain played spoilsport on the first day and fans will be hoping that doesn’t happen again.

As far as the pitch is concerned, it traditionally bounces and is good for batting but there is some uncertainty about its behavior as the WTC final will be the first Test in June.
