New Delhi: Income do Department said on Saturday This Over Rs 67,400 crore refunds have been issued in the five months of the current financial year.
“CBDT Issues refunds worth over Rs 67,401 crore to over 23.99 lakh taxpayers between April 1, 2021 and August 30, 2021,” the IT department tweeted.
Out of this, income tax refund of Rs 16,373 crore has been issued in over 22.61 lakh cases and corporate tax refund of Rs 51,029 crore has been issued in over 1.37 lakh cases.
