Health department officials are also awaiting the report of genome sequencing of a boy studying at the city’s Cygnus school. While he had tested positive on December 16, he had not been to school since December 10.
The concern about the boy is that he was in close contact with Harney’s elderly couple, who had tested positive and were found to be infected with the Omicron variant.
